He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto S. Salinas and Petra G. Salinas; his son Ronald "Ronnie" Salinas; his great grandchildren, Troy Anthony Salinas and Jude Matthew Salinas; and his siblings, Ernesto "Ernie" Salinas, Janie Thorpe, Armando Salinas, Consuelo "Connie" Luera, Esmeralda Robert, Rodolfo Salinas, Librada "Lee" Amador, Ruben Salinas, Homer Salinas and Raúl Salinas.
He is survived by: his wife Enedelia "Nellie" Salinas; his children, Sylvia Lozano, Norma Salinas (David), Danny Salinas (Gina), Omar Salinas (Emma) and Roy Salinas (Tanya); and his sisters, Irma Abrigo (Zeke) and Linda Munoz (Rene). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (98 W Main St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332).
