She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Chabera and Jesusa Chabera (Gamez); her siblings, Oscar Chabera, Alonzo Chabera and Anita Lopez (Chabera); her children, Alonzo Briseno and Velma Cardenas; and her grandchildren, Joe Nino Hernandez, Micala Hernandez De Leon and Juan Angel Briseno.
She is survived by: her husband Pablo Gutierrez; and her children, Eddie Chabera (Katarina), Timoteo Briseno Jr., Mary Julia Caballero (Jerry) and Mary Lupita De La (Gilberto). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Galloway & Sons Funeral Home - Three Rivers (1600 Laurel Ave, Three Rivers, TX 78071). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (303 E Alexander St, Three Rivers, TX 78071). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Three Rivers Cemetery (541 Oakville Rd, Three Rivers, TX 78071).
