He was predeceased by: his parents, John McClendon and Annie McClendon (Cowie); his wife Mary Louise Coker; and his son-in-law Samuel David Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Richardson of Mineral, Sheila Sisk (John) of Mineral and Rodney Ross McClendon (Michelle) of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Madison McClendon, Bryce McClendon, John Ross Sisk, Katie Minkey, Hudson Sisk and Allen Richardson.
