She was predeceased by: her parents, C. C. Turner and Eva Turner; her husband Sterlin Barton; and her brother-in-law Ben Carnes. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Westveld (Kurt) of Austin and Sharon Zarriello (Ron) of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Keely and Keaton; her siblings, Linda Carnes and Jerry Turner of Vicksburg, MS; her brother-in-law Fred Barton (Terry) of Springtown, TX.; and her nieces, Jennifer Wilson (Stan), Kimberly Sauls (Chad), Becky Nobles (Tom) and Leslie Barton Johnson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Thorndale (101 N 3rd St, Thorndale, TX 76577).
