Fred Richter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Richter of Thrall, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Richter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Richter and Elsie Richter (Patschke); his parents-in-law, Martin and Adele Woelfel (Lehman); his brother Eugene Richter; his siblings-in-law, Jim Pryor, Sonny Glazener, Ed Richter, Arthur Woelfel and Nyoka Richter; and his niece Kimberly Collier.
He is survived by: his significant other Melva Woelfel; his children, Vincent Richter (Mary) of Thrall, Vickie Korenek (Alan) of Rockdale, Darlene Rippamonti (Anthony) of Victoria and Lavonne Berdoll (Lance) of Bastrop; his great grandchildren, Gretchen Rodgers (Brandon), Cora and Calvin of Temple; his grandchildren, Maia Richter (Tyler Carpenter), Maggie Box of Temple, Randy Korenek (Matilda), Liam, Moxon, Tucker of Rockdale, Garrett Korenek (Lani Denman), Brooklynn, Kolsen Korenek, Brantley Denman of Franklin, Hannah Rippamonti of Victoria, Kaylee Berdoll (Jimmie Smith) of College Station, Travis Berdoll (Kaitlyn), Emma and Kacie of Bastrop; his siblings, Harry Richter (Judy) of Kingsland, Alice Glazener of Kingsland and Diane Locklin (Scott) of Thorndale; and his sister-in-law Dee Richter of Thorndale. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Thorndale (101 N 3rd St, Thorndale, TX 76577). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
