Preston Stephen Hairgrove Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Stephen Hairgrove (Thornton, Texas), born in Tenaha, Texas, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hubbard and Bessie Wilson Hairgrove; his in-laws, Jack and Estelle Beard (Aman); and his siblings, Cynthia Ann Hairgrove, Bessie Hairgrove, Armenda Brymer, Peggy Hensel, Martha Pye, Charlotte Schoellman, Deloris Johnson, Frank, Joel, Nelson and Alfred Hairgrove.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Beard Hairgrove; his children, Douglas Podell of Thornton, Stephen (Melissa Hairgrove) of Pasadena and Rebecca Waldrop of Austin; his grandchildren, Lane, Emily, Molly Hairgrove of Pasadena, Preston and Ellie Waldrop of Austin; and his sister Dixie (Wesley Sanders) of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
