He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Longer and Mabel Sue Longer (Bryant); his wife Betty Jane Stepanski; his daughter Shelli Longer Wyrick; and his brothers, Leo Longer and John Longer.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Miller (Bill), Terry Longer (Etta) and Larry Longer (Lynda); and his siblings, Thomas Longer (Anne Marie), Wayne Longer (Carol) and Mary Arfele. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandkids, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
