He was predeceased by: his parents, Finis Ray Reeves and Madelyn Elizabeth Reeves (Dawley); and his siblings, Finis "Snow" Reeves, Jeannette "Cootsie" Cox and Martha Van Dyke.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Reeves of Thornton; his sister Nellie Pauline "Jane" Yarbrough of Thornton; his daughter Carla Kay; his son-in-law Tim Van Harten of Kerrville; his sons, Billy Ray Reeves of Shiloh and Kevin Jay; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Reeves of Thornton; his daughter Traci Elizabeth; his son-in-law Justin Grimes of Hutto; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Logan Grimes of Hutto, Brittany Reeves of Thornton, Kyle Reeves of Groesbeck, Chelsey, Jody Ward of Thornton, Katie and Garrett Ferguson of Lost Prairie. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home, Inc. (1215 E Yeagua St, Groesbeck, TX 76642). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
