With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward J. Betak of Thorndale, Texas, born in Taylor, Texas, who passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Betak and Lucy Betak; his brothers, Charlie, James and Roy; and his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Frances Melde.
He is survived by: his sons, Bo, Dean (Lori) and Lance (Crispin); his granddaughter Misty; his wife Sharon Melde; his daughter Misty Zieschang (Scott); his grandchildren, Taryne, Bradley, Allison, Chance and Patrick; his brother Ray Betak (Gloria); and his sisters-in-law, Fay Betak and Marge Betak.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Paul Build the Vision Fund or to the St. Paul General Fund.
