He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William David Cox Jr., Juanita Cox and Robert William Kattness (Bob); and his sister-in-law Zane Hyzak. He is survived by: his mother Rhonda Edward Cox (Doug Thomas); his wife Brenda Hyzak Cox of Mary's Church; his daughters, Heidi and McKenzie; his siblings, Jason Cox (Genie), Nicole Haegan (Phillip) and Seth Cox (Tori); his grandmother Helen Kattness; his parents-in-law, Bernard and Henrietta Hyzak (Dolly); and his brothers-in-law, Randy Hyzak, Dwayne Hyzak (Kristi) and Greg Hyzak (Angela).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A rosary will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (408 Washburn St, Taylor, TX 76574). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St Mary's Catholic Cemetery (520 Washburn St, Taylor, TX 76574).
In place of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Chad Cox's name to Thrall High School Band and Thrall Elementary School.
