He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hietter and Petra Hietter; and his sister Joanne Marie Hietter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sisters, Mary Langhorst and Kay Elliott (Bob); his son Paul; his daughter-in-law Julie Hietter; his daughter Catherine; his son-in-law Joe Cox; and his grandchildren, Edward Hietter (Bella Perea), William Hietter (Amy), Christiana Hietter, Charles Cox and Elizabeth Cox.
