He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Townsend and Luther Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Diane H. Townsend; his children, Steven R. Townsend, Kathleen V. Norvell and Mary C. Townsend; his grandchildren, Marcus, Krystal, Matthew, Craig and Carrie; and his great grandchildren, Mallory, Leland, Westen, Madelyn and Stetson.
