He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Gulledge, and Dot Gulledge, Sr.; his brother Gilbert; and his son Jay Rulon. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gulledge; his sister Violet Oden; his nieces and nephews, Becky Egert (Scott), Carolyn Sebek (Darren), Candy Stansbury (Steven) and Laurie Spenser (Warren); and his grandchildren, Kristin Noble, Jason Simmons (Jennifer), Brandi Egert-Perez, Andrea, Parker Davis, Cyndi, Carter Davis (Sydney), Jordan Vining (Scott), Reese Stansbury, Erin Finch (Taylor) and Alaina Spencer.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Park the Woodlands Funeral Home (18000 I-45, The Woodlands, TX 77384). A reception was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
