We bid farewell to Claudia Brownell (The Woodlands, Texas), born in Hagerstown, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Claudia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Clagett Strite and Claudia Brewer Strite; and her grandparents, Earl LeRoy Brewer and Governor of Mississippi. She is survived by: her brother Samuel "Tag" Strite (Laurie); her children, Susan Brownell of St. Louis, Robert Brownell, Jr. (Helen) of Decatur, Georgia and Lynda Brus (Michael) of The Woodlands, Texas; her nephews, Samuel "Toby" Strite and Jeffrey Strite; her grandchildren, Conor Brownell, Bridget Brownell, Meredith Brus and Samuel Brus; and her pets, Heel Be Tuff and Congress.
