He was predeceased by: his parents, Reyes Cruz and Sara Cruz; and also, Reyes Cruz, Omero Cruz and Oralia Gonzales (Cruz).
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Cruz of Little Elm and Johnny Cruz; his daughter-in-law Brandy Cruz of The Colony; his siblings, Olga (Jerome Olsen), Linda (Rafael Lagunas) and Pedro (Breatice Cruz); and his grandchildren, Micahel, Renay, Lorenzo, Della, Aleksis, Danyelle, Sara and Jayde.
