He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Mae Cook Turnipseed and Pat Turnipseed; and his sister Dora Dean Turnipseed Pogue. He is survived by: his former wife Stella Elaine Tackitt; his wife Elaine Tackitt Turnipseed; his son Mark of The Colony; his siblings, Maxine Briggs of Waxahachie, Ruth Newberry of Nixon, Sue Quinteros of Blue Ridge, Wanda Turnipseed of Dallas, Dale Turnipseed of Steilacoom, WA and Norman Turnipseed of Garland; his aunt Maybelle Cook Ray of Cherokee; and also, Austin, Justin and Michael. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
