He was predeceased by: his parents, James Archie and Christine Johnson Peel; and his grandson Jason Daniel Shipp. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Peel; his children, Kent Terrill San Angelo (Vicki), Kevin Peel Sherman (Sheila), Kim Ivey McQueeney (Toby), Kelly Peel Weatherford (Phyllis) and Kendall Brown (Ross) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Ashlee Vasquez (Christopher) of North Carolina, Taylor Merrill Weatherford (John), Regan Peel Weatherford (Joey), Will Terrill San Angelo, Tanner Ivey San Marcos and Kevin Bankston Sherman; and his siblings, Janice Owen and Bobby Peel (Karen).
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (37 E Harris Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903).
