He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Luther and Dollie Josephine Luther (Spruell); his siblings, Mary Lee Cox, Emma Jean Goodwin and Carl Luther; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Asher.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Luther (Gupton) of Texline; and his children, Christina Hidalgo (Richard) of Clayton, William Luther (Heather) of Texline, Phillip Luther (Misty) of Texline and Lonnie Asher of Kansas. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren 4 Great-Grandchildren.
