He is survived by: his wife Betty Richard; his children, Phelina Bledsoe (Ellis Austin), Danielle Richard (Daryl Horton), Shametria Richard (Tootie), Shenika Preston, Roosevelt Jr. (Angela Richard) and Roshawn Richard; his sister Mary Anne (Cleothus Hemphil); his parents, Otis Richard and Calidonia Fields; his sister Linda Joy Richard; and also, Shelia George (Dwight), Denise Quarterman, Michael Greer, Tonya Purdy, Vera Cooper (Coop), Wanda Praylor, Lenora Augustine, Saul Richard and Aunt Nuni. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
