With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Petra Solis of Texas City, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Petra left this world on February 22, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Petra may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Torres and Inez Torres; her sons, Roy Solis, Jr., Ricky Solis, Sr. and Albert Solis, Sr.; and her brother Leo Torres.
She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Solis, Celeste Solis and Tony Solis; and her pet Rustie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church (1604 9th Ave N, Texas City, TX 77590). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
