He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Bolton and Mary Byrd Bolton; his parents-in-law, Max and Ruth Willard; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Willard and Kay Mottesheard Bolton.
He is survived by: his brother Robert Lee Bolton of Bozeman's Senators; his wife Cynthia Willard Bolton; his children, Michael Gary Bolton Jr. (Irma), Stephanie Bolton and Geny Bolton White (Tim); his brother-in-law Stephen Willard (BJ); his grandchildren, Amanda Bolton Appelgate (Austin), Marcus, Jadan and Donovan Ross; his caregivers, Lisa Maxwell, Cathy Cantrell Wall and Makenzie DeLaO; his granddaughter Annelise Mendoza; and his caregiver Annette Boudreaux. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James Crowder Funeral Home (401 Texas Ave, La Marque, TX 77568). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church (1604 9th Ave N, Texas City, TX 77590).
Memorial donations can be made to the Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future or Alzheimer's Association in memory of Gary.
