He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Salazar and Anita Salazar; his siblings, Antonio Salazar, John Salazar, Paul "Chief" Salazar and Lupe Salazar Biberston; his son Antonio "Tony" Salazar; his nephews, Paul "Mijo" Salazar, Paul "Paco" Salazar and John Michael Salazar; and his great-nephew Paul "Little Paul" Salazar.
He is survived by: his sister Patty Muenich; and his children, Sarah Salazar Pauley (Tim Pauley), Dawna Salazar, Fabian Salazar and Frank Salazar (Nikki Salazar). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
