She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Billy Sparkman; her grandchildren, Sharon and Shannon; her daughters, Shannon Sparkman and Sharon Roper (Mike); her daughter-in-law Sherry Sparkman; her daughter Marceia Cox; her sister Paula Thompson; her brother-in-law Mickey Sparkman (Kathy); her grandchildren, Amy Harvey (Dean), Brooke Mahoney (Michael), Erica Bacon (Connor), Ben Roper (Amber) and Ethan Roper (Kristina); her great grandchildren, Zach Harvey, Abigail, Paxton Bacon, Kolton, Kadyn Roper and Heath Roper; her parents, Paul Hopkins and Virginia Hopkins (Haire); and her son Scott Sparkman.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cross View Baptist Church (3268 FM 2148, Texarkana, TX 75501).
