It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Bivens of Texarkana, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Kathleen Campbell Leshe and Charles Edward Hays; and her husband Loyd R. Bivens. She is survived by: her sister Charlotte Hays Bivens (Phil); her children, Melissa K. Dixon (Donald), Douglas R. Bivens and Eric W. Bivens (Johna); her grandchildren, Austin Duran, Danielle Blackwell (Sai), Lauryn Gutzler (Keegan), Madison Bivens, Zach Dixon, Bryce Bivens and Ava Bivens; her great grandchildren, Monroe Blackwell and Amauri Blackwell; and her nephews, Scott Bivens and Brent Bivens.
