He is survived by: his wife Dianne Tyrone; his son Ross Tyrone (Michele); his sister Sue (Judy); and his grandchildren, Taylor Smith (Dillon), Steven Brandenburg and Zachary Penny (Harmony). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
