It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert T. Bilbo in Texarkana, Texas, born in Baxterville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Robert had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Robert may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. T. Bilbo and Elizabeth Bilbo; his wife Frances; his daughter Kathy; and his siblings, Maxine Daniels and Hulon Bilbo.
He is survived by: his sister Willene Smith of Lumberton, Mississippi; and his sons, Robert Bilbo (Kay) of Vail, David Bilbo of Little Rock, Edward Bilbo (Debra) of Texarkana and Dennis Bilbo (Shirley) of Porter, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
