Robert Schroeder Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Schroeder (Texarkana, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Berniece Spann Schroeder and Robert William Schroeder, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Shoptaw Schroeder; his son Robert William Schroeder III (Trey); his granddaughters, Frances Rose Schroeder and Eleanor Allen Schroeder; his siblings, Sue Schroeder Pearcy, Phil Schroeder and Julie Schroeder Bridgforth; his nieces and nephews, Missy Pearcy, Jenny Pearcy Ligon, Becky Pearcy Bridges, Shane Bridgforth, David Bridgforth, Patrick Bridgforth, Mark Shoptaw, Suzanne Smith, Brett Shoptaw and Holly Giles; his brother-in-law Ralph Shoptaw; his sibling Delta of Arkansas; and also Nancy DeLamar.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home - Texas (3515 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX 75503). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beech Street Baptist Church (601 Beech St, Texarkana, AR 71854).
