She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Samuel Dillon, Jr. and Mary Louine Maxey; and her sister Alice Cowan of Ft. Worth, TX.. She is survived by: her husband Jim Whiteside of Texarkana, TX; her granddaughter Bailey Elizabeth Shirk of Fayetteville, AR; and her siblings, Barbara Darr (Frank) of Houston, TX, Mary Anne Dillon of Houston, TX, Frances Sheehan (Jody) of Lenexa, KS, Linda Wilson (Tommy) of Texarkana, TX and Dr. Charles S. Dillon III (Capri) of Hot Springs, AR. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A rosary was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home - Texas (3515 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward's Catholic Church (407 Beech St, Texarkana, AR 71854).
