She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thornton and Marie Thornton; and her son John Allan Reed. She is survived by: her significant other Roy Nicholson; her son Brian Nicholson (Misti); her sister Becky Hanna (Harold); her brother-in-law Ed Nicholson (Ann); her grandchildren, Brailey McElwee (Tyler), Blaize Nicholson, Brayden Nicholson (Denver), Briar Reed and Dylan Silvey (Caitlyn); her close friends, James and Linda Moody; and her caregiver Mary Allen. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
