Charles C. Vanderburg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles C. Vanderburg of Texarkana, Texas, born in De Kalb, Texas, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy Vanderburg; his wives, Myrtle E. Knight Vanderburg and Numancia Mary Quijano Vanderburg; and his siblings, Luther R. "Dick" Vanderburg, Thad Vanderburg, Melba Strickland and Sarah Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Vanderburg of Grand Prairie, Martin Vanderburg of New Bern and Sharon England of Erie, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Jeane Duren of Mesquite, Vida Brine of Texarkana, Texas and Don Vanderburg of Texarkana, Texas; his grandchildren, Sara Caballero, Joshua Vanderburg, Zachariah Vanderburg, Alex Vanderburg and Jason Vanderburg; and his close friend Joan Thisius. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
