She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Billingsley and Annie Billingsley; her husband Hosie "Buddy" Ernest Patterson, Jr.; her son Dennis Anthony Patterson; her siblings, Marian Branch, Wanda Flaherty, Imogene Rankin and Wilbur Billingsley; and her granddaughter Melissa Ann Patterson.
