It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Marie Slayton (Terrell, Texas), born in Paden, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melton Slayton; her daughters, Melba Marie Slayton, Ann Bolin and Cathy Dillard; her grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Slayton and Joshua Wayne Slayton; and her sisters, Nadine Wright and Sue Lanning.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Slayton and Ivan Slayton (Kelly); her son-in-law Clay Dillard; her grandsons, Rick, Robbie Sweet, Jason Dillard, Shawn Slayton (Jenifer), Tanner Slayton and Jason Howard; her great grandchildren, Jace, Jett Dillard, Allen Sweet, Madison Slayton, Logan, Rylee, Kinley and Hunter Slayton; her great great grandchild Hope; and her sister Lucille Caywood. She is also survived by loving mother to her children and loving "Nanny" to her grandchildren.
