He is survived by: his stepchildren, Steven Dale and Sharon Denise; his wife Sharon Martin; his siblings, Peggy Black of Forney, Jodie Loftis of Eustace and Jerry Dennis Martin of Scurry; his children, Dale Martin (Melendy) of Cleveland, Tennessee and Denise Reed (Trent) of Kemp; his grandchildren, Cassie Marie Martin, Sharon Taylor Sparks (Eric), Audrey Kay Challender (Alex), Shelby Tanner Hevener (Dustin), Erica Janelle Reed, Sarah Marie Reed and Steven Nathaniel Martin; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Rose Challender, Eric Leonidas Sparks and Sebastion Allen Swanson.
