She was predeceased by: her father James Barker; and her former husband JW. She is survived by: her mother Mary Ann Barker; her husband Joseph LaCour (J. W.); her children, Justin LaCour and Linnea LaCour Templin; her grandson Cody Gunter; her daughters, Helma LaCour Rabal (Clifford) and Betsy LaCour Petty; her grandchildren, Seth Rabal, Mark Bryant, Stephanie Rabal (Robert) and Cynthia LaCour; and her friend Stella. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
