With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel R. Collier in Terrell, Texas, born in Mount Pleasant, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 90. In the sacred silence of farewell, Samuel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Collier and Agnes Collier (Raney); his former wife Nancy Collier; his children, David Collier, Donnie Collier and Laura Henderson; and his brother Harry Collier.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Collier of Forney, TX; his children, April Rogers of Duncanville, TX and Samuel Lane Collier; and his brother Albert Wallace Collier (Mabel) of Palmer, TX. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, associates, and friends.
