He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Lanier Hanes; his former wife Shirley Neill Hanes; his parents, Sam Hanes and Syble Hanes; and his brother Don Hanes.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Hanes (Barb) of West Monroe, LA and Blake Hanes of Waco, TX; his grandchildren, Jason Hanes (Rebecca) of Benton, LA and Jennifer Hanes of West Monroe, LA; his sons, Allison Noland (Stephen) of West Monroe, LA and Jake Hanes of Waco; his sisters-in-law, Connie Wallace (Don) of Mesquite, TX and Willowdeen Lindsey of Terrell; and his friends, Walter and Kay Stinnett of Terrell, TX.. He is also survived by two great grandsons, one great granddaughter and one great-great granddaughter.
