It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Calder of Terrell, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Calder McDonald; his brother Glenn Gray; his grandparents, Lillie Kuykendall Calder and Fred D. Calder; his nephew Gage Croyle; and his father-in-law Edgar Ray Brumit.

He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Calder of Terrell; his father Robert Gray of Paris; his daughters, Rianna Ashlynne Calder of Terrell, Marissa Calder of Terrell and Jennifer Brumit-Sims (Michael) of Fate; his siblings, Wayne Gray, Eddie Gray (Angela) of Caddo Mills, Billy McDonald of Alba, Scott McDonald (Mary) of Grand Saline, Joe Bob McDonald (Amy), Laura Wood (Jamie) of Grand Saline, Dana Grisso (Joe) of Electra, Margie White (Ronnie) and Dawn Taylor (Gary); his grandchildren, Aaron and Zane Sims of Fate; and his nieces and nephews, Cory Ferguson, Dillon Harris, Andria Rowe and Bailey Garner. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nazarene Chapel (2262 Vz County Rd 1806, Grand Saline, TX 75140).

Memorials may be made in Mr. Calder's memory to Forever Hope (Abundant Life Church) in Garland or any homeless shelter of your choice.
