It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Spears of Terrell, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Oscar is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Oscar's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester (Margie Spears) and Heaven. He is survived by: his brother Bobby Spears (Mary); and his nieces and nephews, Chris Spears (Amber), Jennifer Regan (Scott), Jamie Blackburn, Tiera Homer (Blake), Justin Spears (Kim) and Brandi Hammer (Steven). He is also survived by many other great-nieces and -nephews, other extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
