In the sacred silence of farewell, Nelda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Nelda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Angell and Ruby Angell (Evans); her husband Ed; and her siblings, Allen and Dicie.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Lynn; her son-in-law Bobby; her brother Billy (Margarett); her grandchildren, Ryan Erwin and Amanda Erwin; and her caregivers, Lynn Vaughn, Beverly Dunn and Sonya Ross. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

A reception was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160).
