She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Carpenter and Margie Carpenter; and her husband Jim Nash. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Jo Carver; her siblings, Melinda (Larry Hickson), Monica (Gary Behle), Marchella Carpenter, Marcus (Marcia Carpenter) and Lee Carpenter; her grandchildren, RJ, Shelbie and Tess; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Lilly, Jr., Prisk, Sanaa and Omari Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
