Kiki Figueroa Obituary
Kiki Figueroa, of Terrell, passed away on November 6, 2021. Kiki was born on April 8, 1966 in Terrell to Dr. Sergio V., Sr. and Cristina Figueroa, both of whom met Kiki in Heaven along with his wife, Misty McWha Figueroa and his brother, Sergio Figueroa, Jr. Kiki was, to put it simply, a force of nature! Upon meeting him, everyone immediately recognized his love for life and his love of others.
He grew up in Terrell, graduating from Terrell High School in 1984. Many of the friendships he made as a young man endured for his entire life and there was rarely a place that Kiki went that he didn't know somebody he grew up with or hung out with. Kiki had a smile that was the biggest and brightest in the room and his hugs were the only things bigger than his smile.
The phrase "never met a stranger" truly applied to Kiki-he made instant friends of all he met with his bigger than life personality that embodied fun and generosity perfectly. He could make the most mundane days extraordinary and he had the incredible ability to make everyone laugh with his comments, antics and his insights.
He had an incredible charisma that made every get together memorable for decades and inspired stories still told today! He lived life to the fullest in every way possible and was a great friend to all who knew him, whether it was for a minute or his lifetime. A one-of-a-kind man with a heart as big as Texas and love for every one he met, Kiki will be greatly missed but never, ever forgotten.
He is survived by his daughter, Avery Jeanne Figueroa; sisters: Sandra Rohde and Cristina Figueroa; mother of his daughter, Michelle Figueroa Wilson. Kiki is also survived by and extended family that loved him and are grieving as well with beloved relatives from Monterey, Mexico, Mallorca, Playa de Carmen, and Arkansas. He was a great uncle to his niece and nephews: Assisi Rohde, Victor Rohde, and Nicklaus Graves. each of whom are heartbroken as well along with his many other extended family members and countless friends, near and far.
A celebration of Kiki's life and legacy will be held at will be at 4:00pm, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Life Pointe Church in Terrell, TX. Instead of flowers, the family is strongly suggesting that donations in memory of Kiki be made to: Cornerstone Ranch 3933 CR 317 McKinney, TX 75069 to help an organization that was especially close to Kiki's heart and family.
