He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hamilton and Odell Spencer Hamilton; and his siblings, Jeanette Standford, Mae Dell Hamilton Jones, Lanessa A. Hamilton, James Hamilton Jr. and Elmer Earl Hamilton.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Hamilton and Patricia Hamilton-Jones; his daughter Jacqunette; and his brother Robert Hamilton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
