It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Poston of Terrell, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Poston and Bobbie Morrision Poston; his stepmother Louise Chandler Poston; his siblings, Cindy Hust and Rusty Poston; his nephew Virgil Webb Hust; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Hust, Don Holcomb and Bill Rigdon.
He is survived by: his friend John Porter; his son Wesley; his wife Vicki Cook Poston; his sister Marla Poston; his sister-in-law Carolyn Rigdon; his daughter Angie Maddox; his son-in-law Michael Maddox; his grandson Wesley Poston; his daughter-in-law Shari Poston; and his grandsons, Carson Maddox, Tanner Maddox, Andrew Poston and Joshua Poston. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory can be sent to First Baptist Church, Wills Point or Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief.
