He is survived by: his father Hector Sarmiento Garcia; his wife Lola Sanchez; his children, Hector Hugo Sarmiento, Salvador Sarmiento, Christian Sarmiento and Diana Sarmiento; his grandchildren, Alexia G., Julian, Alan, Amy, Alexis, Camila and Neymar; and his siblings, Silvio Sarmiento and Maria Leticia Sosa. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
