He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Leo Ellis and Mina Lee Ellis (Hill); and his sister Donnetta Ellis Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Johnson Ellis; and his stepchildren, Marsha Welsh (Steve) and Tommy Clements (Carrie). He is also survived by 5 beautiful grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters.
