He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Boone McCoy; his siblings, Gary McCoy, John Hinson and Joye O'Neal; and his granddaughter Zoe.
He is survived by: his wife Treva; his stepchildren, LaVonda (Steve), Amanda (Brian), Darla (Brent), Dana (Daniel), Brook (Carmen) and Audria (Mark); and his sister-in-law Carol Hinson. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Treva requests donations be made to a cancer or diabetes research or charitable organization.
