She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Davis and Sarah Davis; her husband Jim Kines; her sisters, Juanita Hailey and Lorene Daugherty; her great grandchild Heather Malone; her son Harold Kines (Shirley) of Terrell; her grandchildren, Linda Sipriano, Harold Kines, Jr. and Steve Cockerham, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Jimmy, Brandi, Donavan, Cody, Sebastian and Chloe.
After Jim's death, Dorothy stayed active in her family's lives by being their foundation in love and faith.
