He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Taylor and Sarah Marshall Taylor; and his brothers, Jerry Taylor, Sr., Growing, Dallas and Boude Storey Jr. High.

He is survived by: his children, Don Taylor of Longview, WA, Marcus Taylor (Dallas) and Misty Ausborne (Jarrod) of Forney; his grandson Beckam Grey Ausborne; and his brothers, Ken Taylor and John Taylor (Nancy). He is also survived by Numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
