She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Gail Neely and Jack Cockerham; her stepfather Alvin Jamieson; and her grandparents, Eddie, Yvonne Norvell, Ben and Ada Cockerham.

She is survived by: her husband Mark Mahan of Terrell, Texas; her cherished blessings, Rachel Nicole Schau (Colter) of Willow Park and Amanda Rae Phillips of Terrell, Texas; her grandchildren, Brandice, CJ, Logan and Jax; her sister Brenda Gail Trollope (Sherman) of Jonesborough, Tennessee; her nephews, Chance Fiddler of Florence and Chase Fiddler of Overland Park, Kansas; her stepsister Lesa Julius; and her nieces, Brittany (Coleman) of Canton, Texas. and Jax Whittaker of Canton, Texas..

Over the past several years, she has had to fight to recover from multiple broken bones, heart attack, stroke, Covid, and lastly lung cancer.
