She was predeceased by: her parents, Ides Montaz Burgin and Era Lucille Rasure Burgin; her former husbands, Lester Lewis Swift and John Payne; her husband Mike Kuban; her son Tommy Edward Swift; and her grandson Lester Swift.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Swift of Terrell, TX, Kathy McBride (Alfred) of Longview, TX and Cynthia Hayrat (Abol) of McKinney, TX; her brother Charles Burgin (Carol) of Wills Point, TX; and her grandchildren, Kasie Sparncino, Kayla McBride, Jonathan Hayrat, Charlene Hayrat and Chelsea Hayrat. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home (1701 Goodnight Blvd, Wills Point, TX 75169).
